If you have a food product, but no marketing plan, this practical workshop is for you.
Hosted by Kylie Suich from The Business of Food and Agatha Ioannou of Emporia Marketing, this workshop is designed for people without marketing or promotional experience. It includes:
formulating a basic Marketing Strategy
scripting a plan to effectively engage more of your ideal customers while keeping the cost down and making the greatest impact
tips and hints on where to find your customers and leverage up-to-date knowledge of their buying habits and patterns through appropriate marketing channels
time to get some marketing advice specific to your business and product.
You will leave with:
an understanding of how to prepare a marketing plan for your business
the skills to research your target customer for your product
the ability to identify your direct and indirect competitors for your product and/or your market share
a tool for you to use after the workshop to complete your own marketing plan at home.
This workshop is limited to 8 participants, to give everyone time to work on their own plan. To make the most out of this workshop, come prepared with information about your product, including its unique point of difference; anything you know about your target customer or general marketplace for your product; or how you plan to sell your product to them (i.e. retail store, online shop, farmers market).
